An Education, A "Secure" Job And Saving For Retirement Is A Thing Of The Past.

Look at the media. What do you see? Lay offs, cut backs and company closings in record numbers. In this country, the age of industry is being replaced with the age of technology. The days of "Job Security" are over. The advice our parents gave us to get a good education, find a position in a stable company and save for our retirement is not the advice we want to give to our children. Those days are over. "Why" this happened can be very simple or complicated depending on whom you ask. The bottom line is, Why doesn't matter. What we do as individuals from today forward is what matters. Looking back, wishing this hadn't happened, will not put us in the position we need to be in to secure our financial future.

Meet Sharon. Sharon worked in Corporate America for 31 years. During that time, she was able to "secure" a position with a Strong Company and made a multiple 6-figure income. Sharon thought this was the ideal job. As time passed, she had to put in more and more of her time with the company to keep her position. This was because the company was thining the ranks and the same work was given to fewer employees to complete. Sharon had a typical week of 70 hours at her job and often more. A lady in her late 50's, Sharon had faithfully added to her 401 retirement fund and had a comfortable pension plan. She did what she knew was a way to secure her retirement. This is what her father had done before.

One Friday afternoon, after another 70+ hour week, Sharon was told she no-longer had a position with the company. The company's severance policy had changed so Sharon had a 6-week severance package. After 20 years of faithful service, Sharon was reduced to a pink slip and 6 weeks allowance. Sharon's pension fund had rolled over into her retirement funds and because of the failing economy, were worth less than half of what they were worth the previous year. She had little in savings and her consumer debt was typical for her status. She owed more on her home than it was worth in the tanking economy.

Sound familiar? This is the new reality for tens of thousands of individuals in our country every day. Grim.

Or is it grim? Sharon saw this as the opportunity to take control of her life and her finances. She was always an entrepreneur at heart and only followed the advice of her father because he was a wise man. She realized his wisdom was dated and rarely works in today's economy. Sharon wanted to maintain her lifestyle, but with a few changes. She wanted to maintain her multiple 6-figure income, be free of consumer debt, work less than 30 hours per week and retire in 5 years. She was determined to find the way she could achieve all of this, and did!

Sharon found my team of entrepreneurs. We showed her, step-by-step, how to start and build her business working from her computer and telephone. She is able to travel anywhere in the world and take her business with her. Within a couple of months she had replaced her former income, plus 10%. All this, working 25 hours per week. She had no marketing experience and was not interested in selling anything. Sharon had the desire and the drive and was coachable. We taught her to use a simple, time-tested system and with our mentorship, has achieved the life she truly deserves.

The next millionaires are Entrepreneurs working with the internet. There are real business that can be started economically and quickly while working with a team. Business that thrive in economic turmoil. Individuals who are truly commited to achieving the lifestyle they deserve take action. After all, the real danger is indecision, waiting and focusing on uncertainty. Contact our team today to get the facts and to see the proof of what you can achieve with the assistance of the team==> www.the-secret-to-wealth.com <== We will speak with you soon.

Using The Law of Attraction; I Will Show You The Way...

I have worked as a registred nurse for the last 16 years. During that time I had quite a bit of exposure to students of the Law of Attraction. I became a student as well after one of my patients gave me the book, "The Secret". Since becoming immersed in the Law of Attraction and other principles, I have noticed there are basically three types of people.

First, the majority of us, are the persons who are affected by the Law but have no actual knowledge of it. They live their lives, dare I say it, in default. Not realizing they manifest more of what they are thinking and feeling. They simply excuse their circumstances as 'fate' or 'luck' and go through life without knowing they could be more in control.

Second, are the Students of the principles of the Law of Attraction. They are forever learning, many become teachers. Athough these beautiful people know maybe more than most about the Law, I see them in financial distress or unhealthy or in bad relationships. The fact is: They are simply students, no more.

Last, there are those who are students of the Law of Attraction who actually put what they have learned to practical, everyday use. You can spot these people easily in a crowd. They are, somehow, self-confident. They don't have to be the loudest or the best dressed. They don't need the spotlight to shine out because their wholesomeness and inner beauty are like a beacon. They are not lacking for money or better health and their relationships are secure.
I was very blessed by being able to spend a couple hours with Andy Andrews (The Traveller's Gift) and his boys on the lazy river at the Altantis Resort a few weeks ago. We made it a game of spotting the three different "types" of people we came across. He showed me how to tell the difference and now I can't stop myself from doing the same at the mall or the coffee shop or wherever I go.

Last evening, I was at a friend's house and caught a look at myself in the mirror. I was standing with a group of people and it was then I realized I was looking at myself and playing the same game I had with Andy (I say "Andy" like we are best friends or something lol). Only this time, I was categorizing myself! I am very proud to say, "I passed"! I wouldn't have a year ago though. I was a student of the Law of Attraction, nothing more. Since last February, I have joined a team of like-minded individuals who work with a Company that is a leader in the Personal Development Industry. Since then, I have made it my daily routine to spend an hour every morning studying Personal Development and then a few hours sharing this business with othrs. My life is so much more than I had ever dreamed it could be. Now I have excellent health, a terrific relationship and A wonderful sense of being! This is all due to the incredible income I make with my business working with the Law of Attraction. I am, every minute, Grateful for the chance I took to move beyond student and actually harmonize with the Universe and the Law of Attraction.

It does work. I am living proof. I will show you the way.

Like Crabs in a Bucket

Posted on Nov 4th, 2008 by Russ Sutton : http://www.The-Secret-To-Wealth.com Russ Sutton
Crabs
As a Registered Nurse, I was always looking at the news. Watching for problems with the economy, being anxious about the price of gas and utilities and wondering if I was going to have a job when the "In-Season" visitors left. I felt like I had to continually keep my eyes open for another Job in case the one I had failed. Not knowing if your job is secure can drive a guy to drink! Without financial security, it is difficult to look at a prosperous future. I found that I was not dreaming about what I could do or where I could go because I was stuck in the mundane world of keeping my 'shoulder to the grind stone'.
I was raised to believe that you got an education, found a career and worked your way up the ladder to a comfortable position. Once there, after 30 or so years, you could look to plan your retirement. After you retire, you are able to do all of the things you wanted to do your entire life. Hmm. Problem is, a lot of people are tired at that age and don't want to do those things any longer. Or too broke or ill to do them. I didn't see that for many years. One reason was I was too busy trying to eek out a proper living for my family to look anywhere but right in front of me.
I was stuck in the same rut I had found to be comfortable, even though it wasn't very comfortable.

Last year, a patient gave me the book, "The Secret" for a Holiday gift. I read the book, acouple of times, and then put it down. But the things I read kept mulling around in my head. I found the book and read it again. This time, I studied it. This lead me to the book store where I got more books of the same genre. I found "Think and Grow Rich" "The Power of the Subconscious Mind" and a few others. I read these over and over and the more I read the more I realized this life I had created was not the only option for me. There was more. The best part is, I am able to manifest this for myself. It is simply a change of mindset AND the actions taken for that change. I have met two kinds of persons on my new journey. Those who are merely students of Personal Development and those who USE Personal Development to prosper.

There are a lot of people, I have noticed, that read everything they can and go to the seminars that are available. They constantly study the Laws of Attraction and are very much able to recite exactly what it takes to gain abundance in life. But it stops there! They continue to study and learn but never seem to APPLY the principles in their lives. They continue on the outside looking in at the ones who have grown to know abundance by taking action. Knowing what to do is one thing, doing it quite another! To take action and use the Laws of Attraction is uncomfortable, especially at first. This means doing something that is new, out of the box. Therefore, it makes one feel uncomfortable. Actually, I have come to make myself aware if I am comfortable or not. This is one indicator I use to tell myself if I am growing or not. If I have reverted back to the default living I had known the first half of my life.

We live one of two ways. Either we take control of our lives and circumstances and dictate our futures, or we live by default. Most prefer the latter. Why? Because it is easier to follow the same path we were raised on. To live according to the outdated influence of the previous generation. To make the choice NOT to make the choice. Thereby living in default. The "What comes to us is what we deserve" mentality. Most of the persons I come in contact with prefer to sit on the bench and watch the others play. Why? Again, this is what they are used to. They, for some reason, do not believe they deserve to play to win. They are comfortable sitting on the bench as spectators because that is what they have done their entire lives. Sad!

In the past, you worked for a company for most of your life and the company retired you with a pension to keep you above water until you died. That senario has had a dramatic change, has it not? Now, it is up to you to save for your own retirement. The Company you work for is no-longer interested in keeping you happy. It uses threats of termination to get work out of you. The Company has taken back your retirement. The Company is no-longer interested in your satisfaction. Why? Because there are many others who want what you have. There is a glut of people looking for the opportunities that the company offers because of corporate growth and outsourcing. Because of continued automation, cutbacks and failures.

There are a few. A few individuals that are taking the information learned about the Law of Attraction and putting it to work. They are the few who are getting uncomfortable and making changes in their lives. They are no-longer satisfied with the mediocre life Corporate America has to offer. They understand there is a major push for change in the world marketplace. They want to control their own destiny and are willing to make the moves to do so. They are the Edison's and Ford's of the 21st Century. They are the ones who are taking the lead in this conscious revolution. They are the ones who guage their success by how UN-comfortable they are getting. By what they are DOING to create their own futures. The Ones who are knowing prosperity and abundance because of it. They are the leaders, using the Laws of Attraction to completely satisfy their desires of life. They do not take the advice of their neighbor, sitting on his couch watching TV, telling them they are wrong to change. They are the persons who do not make choices based on the suggestions of their circle of, despondent, friends and relatives.

Interesting fact: if you catch a crab and put it in a bucket, it will attempt to crawl over the top. So, you have to put a lid on the bucket. Once you catch another crab and put it with the first, you no-longer have to put a lid on the bucket. The crab who attempts to crawl out of the bucket is pulled back down by the other. All of the crabs you put in the bucket will be kept there by their fellows. Interesting huh? What does this have to do with anything? Most of us are just like those crabs. When we want to do something to leave our current set of circumstances, we are pulled back by the words and actions of our relatives and peers. When we see one of our friends doing something we think won't work, we give them our philosophy on the subject and pull them back. We offer out advice, why? Sometimes because they ask. Sometimes because we think we are preventing them from harm. Sometimes because we are comfortable with who they are and don't want that to change. Conversely, how does your family act when you attempt something unorthodox? How do your friends react when they learn of a big change you are making in your life? More often than not, they are like those crabs. They don't want you to change. Your changing would force them to look at their lives, and they don't want to do that.

So what do you do? What DO you do? I am one of those strangers I spoke of previously, so I do not want you to take any advice from me. Seek out those who you know and sincerely trust for your advice. Those persons who you KNOW will not try to hold you back, but will encourage you to move on with your passions. Encourage, supporting your courage. Those are the ones you will seek out. They are there and will manifest as soon as you are ready to recieve their assistance. Waiting for you to shake off the rest of the crabs and crawl out of the bucket. Ready to move past the student phase and become the controller of your future. The person who's passion is to live their life of choice and is willing to get uncomfortable and make the decisions and changes. Truly desire the changes you will make in your life and the Universe will provide you with all you need to achieve it. Recognize what the Universe is showing you. Do not downplay any revelations or coincidences as there is no such thing.

God Speed!

Can't Get There Without A Map..Huh? (part 2)

Posted on Nov 3rd, 2008 by Russ Sutton : http://www.The-Secret-To-Wealth.com Russ Sutton
Russ_sutton_in_hawaii_www

This is the second part of a series of articles written to assist you with achieving your goals. In the previous article, I laid the foundation for goal setting. There are a few simple exercises and steps that will help you determine what your goals actually are. Remember, when you envision your goals, it is vital you see them as if they are already met. You can rest comfortably and picture yourself as driving that new car, walking on the beach with your new partner or riding in a gondola on the watery streets of Florence. I will publish more on the art of visualization soon.

To further assist you with your goals, it is important to involve all of your senses. By this I mean the more ways you can experience your goals as already being achieved, the more likely you are to reach them. Here are a few tips I have found to be very helpful:

First, write your goals down. We discussed this in a previous article. Write them as if you have already recieved them, EX: "I am very grateful I Have My Palimino Horse. Her name is Smoky and I ride her every day through the pasture and down to the creek. When we get back to the stable, I brush her down and give her some oats for her companionship and for her keeping me safe. This or something even better is now manifesting for me." After you have reviewed this goal, sit quietly and visualize all that you have just said. With closed eyes, see yourself riding that horse through the pasture. See and feel the wind blowing through your hair, the smell of the horse, the feel of the sun on your shoulders, the sound of her hooves on the gravel. I will cover visualization in more depth in the next article.

Great! Now, to better assist you in reaching your goal, cut out and paste some pictures of what your horse will look like. Pictures of you riding her through the pasture. Pictures of you feeding her oats, brushing her, putting the bridle on her, etc. You can find pictures of these events on line. Simply download them and print them off. If you can draw, draw them. The point is to have a visual representation of your goals. This vision board, or whatever you would like to call it, should then be placed so you can see it many times during the day. You may create more than one. Have one at your desk and one in your office at home. Or on the refrigerator. The point is, you want to visit this often. The last thing, before your retire for bed at night, review your goals.

You can involve your other senses as well. Depending on what your goal is, you may test drive the car you are going to get, smell the leather, run your hand along the polished surface. Record the sound of the engine as it is starting and running so you can listen to this at another time. The point is to take in all of the sensory attributes you can and review them often during the day.

The last method I have found to be greatly helpful with attaining my goals is to record your voice and listen to it as you drift off to sleep at night. Review your goals, as if you have already achieved them, several times over on the recording. Use feeling but speak calmly as this is to be the last thing you hear before falling asleep. Your mind responds differently when hearing your own voice. You will place this information in your subconscious mind much more quickly if it is your own voice. Your mind will respond better with your own voice than if hearing anyone else.

Remember to always put a timeline to your goals. This is of supreme importance. It may also be important to work on only a few, priority, goals at a time. This way you will be better able to clearly understand what it is you are seeking. A few well defined goals are much easier to achieve.

In review, once you have determined what your goals are, there are several ways to assist you in achieving them. Use all of your senses. Make a visualization board, recordings of sound, a piece of leather upholstery to smell and touch. Involving all of your senses will better impact your subconscious mind. Also, record your voice reviewing goals and listen to them when you are in a relaxed state. The best time for this is at night just before sleep or in the morning as you awaken. Any time you are able to relax and close your eyes is a great time for this exercise.

My next article in this series is on visualization. The importance of visualizing your goals and some simple exercises in achieving this. I wish only that this information is helpful to you and I am grateful to share. Be well and blessed.

Achieve Your Goals..Not So Easy Huh?

Posted on Oct 29th, 2008 by Russ Sutton : http://www.The-Secret-To-Wealth.com Russ Sutton
Cimg2671_-_copy__107_x_185_

Do you want to achieve your goals? Having a clear picture of what your goals are is a good start. Most of the persons who are successful have clearly defined goals and visit them often. Sounds simple. For many, making a set of defined goals is a difficult matter. What I will share with you, in this series of articles, is an easy way to put your goals into existence. Let's get to it!

The first step to defining your goals is to know what it is you want to achieve. Here are a couple of exercises you can do to find out what it is you really want in your life: Look in the mirror and ask the person looking back at you. "What do I want in my life" This may be uncomfortable at first. That is alright. Keep practicing and you will soon be able to have that conversation with the person who is always there looking back at you. 2) Take a large piece of paper and write down your ideal life. What you would like to become. Who your friends are, where do you live, what carreer do you have. Everything you can imagine you would like you life to be, write it down. You may also draw or paste pictures of your ideal life on this sheet. What does your home look like? Where is it located? Where would you vacation? You get the idea. Do this. Thinking about it in your mind is great, however, putting it down on this paper so it is a visual and tactile representation is very important. I will cover this aspect, in depth, in future articles.

Great! Now, it is important to note, at this point, you are not tied to any one goal you have made. Your goals will change as often as you would like them to. This is an ever-changing process. Also, be aware that you are not required to put forth extreme effort in achieveing these goals. You do not have to strive or use undo effort. If you do find excessive resistance, you may wish to re-evaluate the particular goal and decide if it is truly something you wish to achieve. Once you have your goals firmly set, the process of reaching them will flow easily. Notice how the true nature of life is the simplistic flow, finding the path of least resistance. Defining your goals allows you to have a clear purpose in mind and sets you in the direction to gain the vision you have set for yourself.

Still with me? Super! Next, take another piece of paper and write down the following headings: Personal Growth Carreer Relationships Self-expression Income Possessions Fun The Earth Now, under each heading, describe what it is you would like to have, change or achieve in that column. What would you like to do to grow? Learn another language? Learn to paint? What kind of work would you most like to do? What are the attributes of the persons you have relationships with, who are your friends? How would you like to think about yourself? What income do you wish to have? Where would you like to live, what kind of car would you drive? What would you do for fun? Travel? Learn to fly a plane? Go Scuba diving? And, finally, What would you do to make a difference on this planet? For the people who live here? This is not a difficult exercise, simply write down anything that comes to mind. There are no wrong answers. Spend some time with this, reflect and use your imagination. This is an exercise to stimulate your mind to create all of the possibilities you could achieve in your life. Once you have started this process, you will find yourself thinking of more and more possibilities. Notice the feelings you have when you are thinking about these things. Notice and remember these feelings as they are a key to your attaining your goals!

Once you are comfortable with this exercise, it is time to take the next step: defining your goals. On a fresh sheet of paper, write the following phrase: "This would be my life if I could be, do and have anything I wished". Using the pages from the previous exercise, write out your desired life. Phrase this as though this life is already yours. Ex: I am grateful I have a partner whom I love very much and who is supportive...I live in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home in the mountains..and so forth. Cover all of the areas in the previous exercise. This would be your ideal life!

Now, review what you have written there. What are the top 8 to10 things you have written? Which of those make you feel the best? Which of these are you most passionate about? These ideas contain your 5-year goals. The 5-year goals may look as though they are unattainable from where you are at this point. That is good! Those goals should make you feel uncomfortable, make your palms sweat, and make you excited at the prospect of them coming true. Great! Next, keeping in line with the 5-year goals, put the heading "My 1 year Goals" on another sheet of paper. Choose 6 or 8 goals you would like to achieve and write them down. Remember to keep these goals in line with your 5-year plan. They are another step to getting where you want to be. Also, very important, write them as if you have already achieved them. Ex: "I am grateful I have quit my job and started my own business that is now providing me the time freedom and income I deserve" Once that is accomplished, do the same for your 6-month, 1-month, 1-week and today's goals. Always keeping in line with the 5-year plan. Your goals must be specific and have a completion date. Ex: 'I am grateful I made $20,000 in my business by (specific date)" instead of "I will make a bunch of friends"

A final note. When you are determining your goals, make them real and meaningful to you. Goals that you actually want and not what you think you want (see exercise 1). Remember that you may wish to modify or delete some goals as you progress. Also, you may not attain some goals. That is OK. Review the goals you did not meet and determine whether this is a goal you wish to continue with or something that no-longer fits in your scheme of things. Review all of your goals on a regular basis and modify them as you see fit. Continue to work on your individual goals until the 12th hour. They sometimes have a way of manifesting at the last possible minute! Again, this may take some practice. When you accomplish a goal, celebrate! Pat yourself on the back! Acknowledge your success and be grateful for the opportunity! Once you have mastered this process you will be ready to read additional articles I have produced to further your experience. Thank You for your attention, let me know of your progress. Russ Sutton, RN http://www.Achieveit.Biz

Living According to a Master Law

Birthday at The Bahamas

Living Life In The Flow Of The Universe!

Have you ever stared off into space while sitting at your desk at the job you can not stand wondering what life would be like if your weren't shackled to the chains of that weekly paycheck you so desperately have come to rely on? The one that barely covers the bare necessities after the bills have all been paid, if you're lucky enough to make that much where you actually have any left over, or better yet, have enough to cover the bills in the first place. Have you wondered how your son's soccer game was going since you couldn't be there because you had to work? You tried to take the time off but of course, you didn't get it. Now all you have to rely on are the highlights of the game and the rest of your family's day you'll be lucky to squeeze in before bedtime, if you make it home before then. One more question, aren't you tired of that?

What if I told you that you hold the key to unlock those shackles? That you hold the power to to give your family the life that you all so absolutely deserve. That YOU hold the magic within you to create your own surroundings and all you need is to RECOGNIZE IT!

Since the dawn of time there has been a law in place that was put there to serve all inhabitants of the Universe. No this isn't some weird Sci-Fi documentary, this is a truth that has been buried for thousands of years, maybe millions, that has finally resurfaced in order to give us as individuals the power to regain back control of our lives to live them they way they were meant to be lived...happy, comfortably and ON OUR OWN TERMS. This law has come to be known as the Law of Attraction, and it governs us all.

So what does this have to do with work? EVERYTHING!

The Law of Attraction, simply stated, is the power of like to attract like, what goes around comes around, you get what you give. How many times have you noticed when things were going good, your spirits were high and thoughts were positive that more positive things would continue to happen? Then that one event happens, that one rotten apple that spoils your positive energy and forces you to think negatively again, and guess what happens? That's right, a chain of negative events. Now apply that thinking to your job. You know you dislike it, you dislike the time it takes from your family, the money it barely pays you, the mundane tasks you have to perform that don't interest you in the least...have you any idea what you could accomplish if you spun all of that negative thinking towards positive excitement about running your own home based business? Do you have any idea how much more successful you will be if you put forth as much effort as you do a job you can't stand towards your own dream? The benefits are endless, and it's all within you. Just like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz looking for her home, it was in her the whole time!

I know there are so many home based opportunities out there that are truly full of garbage. They tell you to pay a fee, by the e-book or order the CD-ROM and they'll make you rich over night. But that is just not possible. Nope. No one ever got rich standing around waiting for it to happen. No one ever made a dime moping and complaining about how broke they are. No one. The people who are the most successful in this world had a dream and made it happen. THEY made it happen. With effort, determination, a great system backed by a network of people who believe just as much in your own success as they do their own, YOU have the ability to make that happen too! You just have to want it, feel it, taste and believe you can. Believe me, the Universe will bring it to you, just ask for it...

You have it within you to live your life the way you see fit. On your own terms. With the right tools there's nothing you can't do. And that's no "Secret".
